We appreciate our HW Social Worker Mrs. Nielsen. She is always there when kids, parents, and staff need her! We love having her at Hawthorne . . . we'd be lost without Mrs. Nielsen.

Melina helps Hawthorne children, parents, and teachers bridge the gap between different languages spoken in our school. She interprets at conferences, makes phone calls, answers questions, and translates letters for Spanish speaking families! What would we do without her!

Congratulations goes out to Miss Miller. She just finished her student teaching experience with our class and did a FABULOUS job. Now she is on to Southwest to student teach in math at the middle school level. We wish her luck in making her dreams come true!
