Reading Homework
2nd graders should be reading 90+ minutes per week. Don’t forget to record the time on your reading chart and return it each Friday. One way to become a better reader is to read, read, read. Another way, is to listen to reading. Take time to listen to your child read AND read to him/her.

Math Homework
Practicing addition and subtraction facts along with the weekly math homework sheet is your child’s responsibility. Your child is responsible for turning in his/her sheet by Friday. If you'd like more homework for your child, I'd be happy to put together a packet of work to do at home. Please ask if this interests you!
